Recently our field crews and support team were engaged in an interesting mix of major engine and compressor overhauls, gear train replacements and bearing/compressor rod replacements. What was so fascinating was that these were all very different types of rotating reciprocating equipment from different OEMs and clients.

Reciprocating Technology Services (RTS) serves upstream, midstream and downstream operators, and is part of the TTS Energy Services group of companies which also includes Turbine Technology Services (TTS).

Located in Northwest Houston, Texas, RTS can handle an extraordinary range of projects from swing engines and overhauls to parts distribution.

Meet The Team


Frank Hoegler

Frank is responsible for the management of all business development and sales efforts. He brings over 30 years of industry experience to RTS.

Prior to joining TTS, he was employed by Sermatech Power Solutions, serving as Vice President of Sales and Marketing and previously as Director of the Gas Turbine Parts Program. Frank was also employed by Power Systems Manufacturing LLC as the General Manager of Sales and by General Electric where he held various positions ranging from Field Engineer to Sales Manager to Combustion and Fuel Nozzle Repair Business Leader. He is also a U.S. Navy Veteran where he worked on gas turbine shipboard propulsion and electrical systems.

Frank was born in Ohio and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Technical Management from State University of New York and a Master in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. Frank also holds a U.S. Patent for Gas Turbine Repair Techniques and is a specialist in industrial gas turbine technology.


Tom Anderson
Operations & Engineering Director

Tom Anderson joined RTS in 2018. He started his career with GE Power Systems as a Power Generation Repair Engineer focused on the aftermarket repairs of Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines and Generators. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a BSME and an MBA in International Business from the University of Texas at Dallas. He obtained his Six Sigma Black Belt certification from GE and was also a Six Sigma instructor for GE’s European Service Center network.

Tom has spent his entire career in various leadership roles in the aftermarket service of industrial equipment with GE Energy, Baker Hughes, Elliott Group and Cook Compression. He has a passion for customer service, around the clock support and continuous process improvement.


Allen Laribee
Sales Manager

Allen joined Reciprocating Technology Services (RTS) in 2017. He started his career as a field service mechanic. That appreciation for the fundamentals in medium and large bore reciprocating engines and turbochargers has made him an invaluable asset to clients.

Previously, he served in various sales management positions at OEMs and services companies including GE Oil/Gas, Cooper Cameron, Cooper Compression and Elliott Turbocharger. Allen managed key accounts for many prominent companies in the natural gas, nuclear, petrochemical, power generation, marine, and locomotive industries.


Larry Blaha
Operations Manager

Operators have depended on Larry to solve their problems with onshore and offshore integrals, separables and compressors for over four decades. In that time, he has managed several hundred projects-assembling, installing and commissioning units across the globe.

Larry specialized in clean-burn Cooper Bessemer engine models, upgrades and total operational capabilities but is very familiar with rotating equipment of every description including gas turbines, rotating compressors and ancillary equipment. His experience at Cooper Energy Services and later with Cooper Cameron managing field crews, installing refurbished and new equipment has prepared him well to run operations for RTS.


Wade Williams
Shop Manager

Wade has been servicing slow-speed engines, compressors and anything else in the field needing repair for 22+ years. He has been with RTS since its inception. His knowledge about Cooper, Superior, Joy, Fairbanks, Elliott, Penn, Enterprise, Moore, Clark, Waukesha, Continental, Caterpillar, Ingersol- Rand, Ariel, C-P, and Switzer makes him invaluable. However, his ability to motivate employees and manage projects remains his most appealing skills.
